Using PayPal with Actinic

PayPal is another method that you can use with Actinic to take payments. Only customers who have also signed up for PayPal (this includes lots of auction site users) can pay using this method.

It is free, but you pay commission when selling or making small withdrawals to your bank.

You will be asked for:

1. A credit/debit card so that you can be charged, should you ever purchase from somebody else
2. Bank account information so that you can receive payment

After signing up there is a voluntary authorisation process whereby a micro payment or debit will be made to your card (less than £1). You check your statement for the amount and then tell PayPal what that amount is to authorise. (This ensures that you are the proper owner of the card.)

Note: PayPal is mostly an American company so support is by email, or a phone call to America.
